Application document checklist
Tick the materials you need, then let the tool read the names and sizes of files in a folder on this computer — contents are never opened, nothing is uploaded. Paste the school’s rules and it flags missing items, duplicates, naming and size problems, and writes you one clean naming list.

How the check works
Local only. The folder picker uses the File System Access API (Chrome/Edge) to list file names and sizes. Nothing is opened, parsed or uploaded — you can disconnect from the network and it still works. Other browsers fall back to a standard folder input or pasted names.
Matching is by file name. Each material is matched by keywords like “transcript / 成绩单”. A file named 扫描件001.pdf tells the tool nothing — rename first (the generated list is a good scheme) or check the unmatched-files group in the report.
School rules are yours. The tool extracts a size cap (≤5MB, 不超过 10 MB …) and PDF-only wording from what you paste, then applies it. Everything else in the rules is for your own reading — requirements differ per school and no institution database is maintained.
Naming scheme. The unified list uses FamilyName_序号_DocKey.pdf so files sort in submission order and an admissions officer can tell each apart at a glance.
Questions people ask
Does this tool upload my files anywhere?
No. It reads file names and sizes inside your own browser only — file contents are never opened and nothing is uploaded. Everything disappears when you close the tab or clear site data.
The file exists in my folder — why is it still flagged missing?
Matching works off file-name keywords — a file called 扫描件001.pdf carries no signal. Check the unmatched-file list in the report, or rename using the generated naming list and rescan.
How do I use the naming or size rules my school gave me?
Paste the school's rules into the rules box — the tool extracts size caps (e.g. ≤5MB) and format requirements like PDF-only. No school database is kept; what you paste is the rule.
